Knowing ACTUAL history – instead of surrendering your perception of the here and now to the Western Propaganda we’ve all been indoctrinated into, manipulated by, and remain surrounded by – is liberating.
It gives you the ability to see beyond this Capitalist hellworld and into the new one being built.
But you have to choose. Will you:
1) Support the world Socialists are working to build
2) Remain on mental cruise control, surrendering to the will of the Davos attendees who want to reform Capitalism while maintaining Imperialism
Your choice helps influence the way all our lives will look in the very near future, either:
A) a cooperative social order in which the people are ruled by the bottom up, putting the needs of the many ahead of the needs of the few thousand wealthiest humans (Davos)
B) an increasingly competitive social order in which the minority of wealthiest humans continue to rule from the top, still running the climate toward collapse, whereupon they have survival bunkers and yachts where they’re stocked for 5+ years.
You must choose. Failing to choose means you support this status quo of injustice and cruelty.
So what’s it going to be?
The good news is, if you’re ready to work in your community to improve conditions and help flip the power structure so the working class is in charge, there’s lots of ways you can do that.
Mutual aid
Organizing a tenant’s union
Organize your coworkers into a union
Participate in phone zaps to place pressure on officials on behalf of oppressed and threatened people
Learn actual history and share what you’ve learned
Build food sovereignty by gardening and participating in community seed library programs
Volunteer or Organize at revolutionary, regular-ass people serving events like Free Stores or defending & serving homeless encampments.
Help train and arm BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other vulnerable community members with firearms and other forms of self defense
Become a HAM radio operator
Be a safe house
Build plastic shields for frontline fighters
Fundraise for bail funds, mutual aid, and community serving events
Write incarcerated people and support their integration back into the community as you help work toward abolition
Support striking workers
Organize or attend direct actions and vocally support them to your peers
Start a community fridge
There’s so many roles to fill. You are needed. You have something to contribute to building a better world that serves people, not profits
Even if you don’t see it now, comrades can help you identify the talents you possess
Please don’t let the bad guys take down our beautiful planet. Help us fight them.
