I’m one of many voices in your life, and I’d like to be one of those that you can trust to help you sort through the information we’re all being bombarded by on a daily basis. I thought I should take the time to explain some of what shapes my analysis.
I’ve studied Western history (from about 1300 forward) intensively since 2014 with a special focus on the relationship and contradictions between classes of people under the socioeconomics of their time: Feudalism, Mercantilism, and Capitalism. I’ve also had past eras of hyperfocus on a variety of historical studies, since I started reading at age 4. I’m neurodivergent; among the advantages my particular ND combo give me are pattern recognition and synthesis. So that helps in my work of applying knowledge of accurate history to current events using scientific methodologies – which is part of a way of analyzing the world called Dialectical Materialism.
The magnitude of the lies we’ve been told in the US – so that the Capitalist Ruling Class (CRC) can retain their power and control of most everything- is astounding and infuriating. As more of these lies get exposed, along with those telling them, and revelations about the public resources spent to keep restarting Capitalism as it fails every few years – people are going to be furious, betrayed, and looking for someone or something to give them a reason to hope we can have a good future ahead for us and our descendants and theirs, and so on.
So, why should I be one of your sources to help you navigate this mess? Well, for starters, because I’m already able to see through some of the lies and propaganda, and I’m improving that ability through practice, testing, and my continued historical education. History really does repeat, but most people in the US don’t recognize it, because we’re deliberately taught history from the perspective of the owner class. US history is presented in ways to reinforce that this is the best and only way of life.
People in the US who start learning actual history tend to get stupefied, then one of three things happens:
- They embrace white supremacy and its attendant hatred, cruelty and atrocities.
- Cogdiss their way back to accepting the US and Capitalism as the best and only way of life LA LA LA SEE NO EVIL HEAR NO EVIL SPEAK NO EVIL everything is fine you just need to do what they say to be successful in the system and you’ll be fine have a drink or 7 after work do it all over again every daaayyy rise and grind!
- They recognize the need to learn more, because the past lies mean there’s life-altering information about our understanding and opinions of this country. It also points to the likelihood that they’re still lying, which can alter our understanding, support or opposition and degree to which we will back those with our wallets, actions, and votes. So they commit to learning more and do that.
The last description is me. I’m a Communist, and I use the science of Dialectical Materialism to study and analyze history and current events.
Dialectical Materialism – the worldview and philosophical methodology of Marxism-Leninism – has improved my ability to identify and see through some of the propaganda we’re all swimming in together here in the US. I’ve been helping people by showing them how we’re being lied to on my social media, and several have started seeing it themselves, now that they know some of the things to look for. I want to show more people how DM can be used to analyze our past, present, and shape our future as I learn to improve my own abilities using it.
I want to help you. I hope that, along with the skillset I’ve built and continue to build upon and refine, and my past work demonstrating my skills – including the ability to admit when I’ve gotten something wrong and correct it – will prompt you to read my work and that of other authors on this site who are doing the same kind of work.
We are living through the highest stage of Capitalism, Imperialism, and it is collapsing. The US, China, and the entire world are changing in major ways.
A better world is possible, but we must be informed and united if we want to be successful at building it. Let’s help one another and build community and solidarity.
