Do you understand that the US has started a new Cold War against China, with very real threats for a hot war?
It’s for the same basic reasons why the US began the Cold War against the USSR: governments that are actually serving ordinary people and care about poor people, are a threat to Capitalism, and the US does not want that spreading. The US ruling class of the very wealthy particularly does not want the US population to expect or demand our government to do the same.
This is literally what it looks like to put profits above people.
If you know actual history, instead of the indoctrination we’ve all been subjected to in history class in US schools and throughout our culture, then you understand that this is what the US has always been about from its start.
If you are still trusting and invested in US politicians, please try to look beyond the words they say that are designed to lull you into thinking meaningful change is coming, and instead look at the actual material outcomes.
I was once fooled by them too. So many of us have been and have recognized it, rejected their scam and have been educating ourselves through history and political theory and we’re ready to help you do the same.
Don’t think that there are only two choices, Democrat or Republican. That’s a false dilemma that they set up to make you feel trapped. There’s REAL hope and change within our collective reach, but we must first reject the lie that this dictatorship of the rich we live under is the only option we have.
When you are ready to do that and start learning how dual power is being built in communities across the nation, through collective volunteer efforts by ordinary people, you will discover many of us ready to help you find resources. Just ask.
